Terezín Memorial Ceremony 2025

The annual Terezín Memorial Ceremony is one of the most significant remembrance events in the Czech Republic.
The 2025 commemoration, held in May, honored the victims of Nazi persecution and served as a gathering of government officials, diplomats, and the public. It was a nationally followed event that drew wide attention from both the media and the general public.

The presence of thousands of visitors, state representatives, and international delegations required meticulous preparation and a professional security approach — and SIHASO was proud to contribute to the overall security management of the event.
Our role was to implement preventive measures, ensure readiness for potential crisis situations, and guarantee the smooth and dignified course of the ceremony, allowing all participants to focus on remembrance and reflection.

A notable figure at this year’s ceremony was Paul Haertel, a member of our team with 29 years of service in the FBI, including his tenure as the U.S. Legal Attaché in Prague. His presence brought valuable international experience and perspective to the security coordination of the event
